The band was originally an atmospheric black metal band comprising of 5 members...namely, Kristian on vocals, Sergio on guitars, Maynard on keyboards, Sonny on drums, and Rommel on bass...which was formed in early 2001...who used to cover songs by Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, The Kovenant, and Moonspell...who also has original songs such as The Necromancer, Darkness, and Damned For All Time. Dilapidated Buko Pie is formed from the crazy mind of BongBong Ranes from Los Baños after learning about Josh Alaban's Sunny Day Happy Tune (from San Pablo City) early in 2009. Later, the two became partners in making music for this project and named it after their hometown's delicacy, the buko (coconut) pie . Using Guitar Pro 5 and FL Studio softwares, they created crazy grindcore, punk and hardcore riffs and chuga chuga breakdowns injected with different beats from jazzy blues, techno, death metal, Arabian music and many many more.

Formed in 2004 in the Cavite/Makati area, Half The Battle has been constantly playing the rounds of Laguna, Bulacan, Manila, Cavite, and Cebu, among others. Bringing their unique style of Old School Youth Crew-ish Hardcore wherever they play.

I first saw this band in the early 2000's at a gig somewhere in Cubao, and have been anticipating their full length release since that night. This record brings out the best of HTB's works from 2003-2009, and showcases Easy's newer approach to singing. (different from the last few demos they had put out) and this release was put out by the Takefour label and Major Malfunction.

Sacrilegion was formed in 1994, out of Crematorium's second line-up minus their main man-Ronald Enriquez because of his drug problems. Sacrilegion's original line-up was; Bong Carriño on guitars/vocals, Ronaldo Gojar on bass, and Mike Malvar on drums. 6 months later, Ronald returned as the main man. Ronaldo Gojar was then replaced by Henry Reyes, and another guitarist - Marlon Malgapo, added. This line-up lasted for almost a year, and then, when the group called "Sacrilege" disbanded, it's main man Banjo Clemente joined in to replace Enriquez. Reyes was replaced by Joseph Parangue on bass and Malgapo was replaced by Podz Mallari on guitars. This line-up lasted until 1997 when the band had been temporarily disbanded, until Cariño reformed it in 1998 as a 3 piece outfit with Edward (Corrupt Insanity/Guardian's Crucifix) on bass, and Melvin Reyes on drums.The line-up hardly lasted a year because of Cariño's drug problems. But the story never stops here... Thanks to Guardian's Crucifix; another metal act, who managed to preserve the atmosphere of it's songs by covering some of Sacrilegion's original pieces in their gigs. When the Guardian's Crucifix disbanded in 2003, through the tireless effort and genius of it's guitarist - Marko Ocampo, merged their members with Guardians' Erwin Guinto on vocals and Elmer Glino on drums... Sacrilegion was then reborn and played at the scene once again. Parangue left the band's bass position, then sessionists filled in to play for other gigs like Alvin (Mortal Fear/Sin) and Edward (Corrupt..). After lacking with the heavy artillery, Cavite metal act - Whorelocke's lady bassist; Angela Ocampo filled the empty spot.After more than a year of playing, Angela had to take rest from playing after giving birth. She was then replaced by a slinky player, Dante.... and the band played on. We have just turned 14 years old playing this kind of music, some pieces are changed because of the evolution in metal music itself (for younger ears), yet some pieces remain unchanged because of our great deal of hate against our country's music industry controlled by politics and the system as a whole, and against the need of our co-breeders(metalheads)

DEMISE, formerly a 3-piece band, formed in mid 2001 by Jantux (drums, vocals), Inting (guitars), and Jong (bass). Early 2002, the band had their debut gig with a session frontman and in the succeeding years, still continued playing in local gigs with a shortly-stable vocals. It was mid 2005 when Bazz was introduced to the band and Alvin, who was from another band, was drafted weeks before the Live Blasphemies concert in 2005. Presently, the band is complete and continues to give the people heavy, brutal, and technical music.

Piledriver - Straight From The Gutter: Laguna Street-Edged Crew

This was Piledriver's second effort, released after their first four song demo cassette was put out back in early 2000's. I think this was the first cd release by Railroad Records, and this was release # 2 on their catalog. This was to mark the beginning of the Railroad Label's operations in Laguna, kicking it off together with their sampler series, showcasing the south's most deserving bands.

This band has paid it's dues and continues to do so, still organizing shows in their area every year for more than a decade now. Another of the local greats who have managed to tour Hong Kong independently a couple of years ago, being an inspiration to Laguna's younger breed of Hardcore kids.

This record shows Piledriver at their early stages, as a young 4-piece NYHC -inspired unit. Taking cues from where locals Biofeedback, NFH and the others left off.

Rush I.D. originally started out as a project band of sorts for these group of friends coming from different bands. back in 2001. Having been influenced by Slayeresque riffs, raw, dirty recordings, ManLiftingBanner, Bloodpact, etc.

The band was heavily active playing gigs around early 2000's period but after a few years had laid low. They were resurrected from the grave again this past couple months and had surprised a lot of us when they played Ten02 bar in celebration of DIYPINOY's first anniversary. This should be a sign of good things to come from this powerhouse band, and hopefully we'd get to see more of this group in the gigs to follow.

This was a raw demo they had recorded mid-2009, and a full length studio album would hopefully follow real soon. Watch out for it!

No Fucking Morals was the band Albert (vocals, guitars) and Jepoi (drums) of The Beauty Of Doubt used to play for. Completing the line up was Christian on bass and Gio on guitars. This was independently produced under the NFM label NiceFunnyMen music back in 2002.

The bonus track Damn You people (a cover of a favorite G.I and The Idiots song) has Ronald of Mindrape and Erwin of Free For All guesting.
