There is no escape when death comes ripping,and Pathogen shall re-affirm it! Highly influenced by classic death/thrash/black/grind and doom of the 80's and early 90's,Pathogen was formed in the apocalyptic city of San Pablo ,Philippines in 2001 amidst the vast ocean of underground trends and false conformist behaviour which has polluted the underground scene for many years,Pathogen has set to redefine what death metal is supposed to be! Beginning with 2001's "Invoking Disease" demo tape and after several line-up changes the band recorded their second offering, "Into The Subconscious Void" demo in 2004 which got them noticed by the underground demo trading network comprised of dedicated fans,bands and fanzines and up to now is still being heavily traded by maniacs in the underground scene...Soon after,the band kept on forging some serious and uncompromising metal of death and recorded and released two low-key demos,2005's Decimate,Exterminate,Obilterate" rehearsals and 2006's "Eternal Reign Of Death"-which is a collection of demo outtakes from 2004-05. Pathogen's first full-length opus was recorded in in late 2007 entitled "Blasphemous Communion",And has since garnered considerable attention and support from underground labels,fans and press world-wide,and is/will be released by Evil Dead Productions,Malaysia on pro-cassette tape and soon on vinyl LP by Iron Bonehead Records,Germany,and once again on kult cassette tape joint release by Carnal Sadist Productions,USA and Skull Fucking Metal Records,Canada in 2008.
